H Pandya takes the win with a six.The series is still going strong, thanks in large part to the MI lads. Tilak Varma, who is walking back with Shai Hope to discuss what appears to be his bat, is undefeated on 49 off 37 balls. Suryakumar Yadav has previously scored 83 off 44 balls. Meanwhile, Pandya has finished undefeated on 20 off 14. India keep the series alive with a strong batting effort that hasn't been witnessed in this series and, indeed, for much of the limited overs leg of this tour except for the third ODI.

Another T20I Milestone For Suryakumar Yadav

Suryakumar Yadav joined an exclusive club of players with 100 sixes in men's T20I cricket as India kept alive in their ongoing series against the West Indies with a seven-wicket victory in Guyana on Tuesday.

Suryakumar blasted four sixes in a magnificent 83-run innings in the third edition of the T20I series against the West Indies, becoming only the third man in India, after star combination Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, to reach a century of sixes in the shortest format of the game.

No one in the world has more sixes than Rohit's 182, with Kohli (117) and Suryakumar (101) pursuing their seasoned skipper and part of a group of 14 men's international cricket players to have reached the magical three figure mark.

Suryakumar was at his spectacular best against the West Indies, combining nicely with rising gun Tilak Varma (49*) to ensure India successfully chased down the West Indies' modest score of 159/5 with just three wickets lost and more than two overs remaining.

The five-match series is now evenly poised, with the West Indies leading 2-1 and the next two games slated for Saturday and Sunday in Florida.

Kuldeep Yadav (3/28) and Axar Patel (1/24) combined to restrict the West Indies to a meager total after they won the toss and decided to bat.

Suryakumar was unfazed by the early loss of openers Shubman Gill (6) and Yashavi Jaiswal (1), as he terrorised the opposition bowlers with his trademark clean hitting.

Suryakumar hit 64 boundaries out of his 83 runs, and by the time he was out in the 13th over, India was in a commanding position to cruise home under the careful eyes of skipper Hardik Pandya (20*) and Varma.

While Varma came just short of his second successive half-century in only his third international outing, Suryakumar was impressed with the left-hander's maturity and believes the 20-year-old has a bright future in the game.

"I feel for his age, he's showing amazing maturity," Suryakumar stated after the match of Varma.

"He knows his game very well and knows exactly what he wants to do when he comes into bat, and today he was very clear about what he wanted to do, and he's mentally very strong."

"That's the most important thing, what you need when you come into the Indian dressing room and play at this level."
